Honeymoon Registry Terms and Conditions
Registering With
Tramex
To register with Tramex, fill out and submit this Registry Agreement
and Profile form. An account will be established in your name and
assigned an account number. A Tramex specialist will then help you
with your travel plans, deciding on a destination and making all the
arrangements.
Getting the Word
Out
Tramex will provide you with 100 printed information cards to pass
out to friends and family that explain your honeymoon registry with
Tramex, and how they can help give you the perfect wedding gift —
the perfect honeymoon. Extra gift cards are available for a nominal
charge.
How Your Registry Funds are Handled
Your friends and family either return the information cards with
their cash, check, money order or VISA/MasterCard numbers to Tramex,
or visit our online registry contribution page. All
contributions added to your registry account are subject to a 5%
administrative handling fee. You can access your registry anytime
for a current itemized report detailing the names and addresses of
people who made contributions, along with a running balance of your
account. This way, you have all the information you need to send
thank you notes for the gifts. Tramex will also send each gift giver
a notice as a confirmation of our receipt of their contribution.
If plans change after
you have established a registry account, and you cancel your plans
or book through another source, Tramex will pay you the balance of
your registry account minus a ten percent (10%) service charge.
Tramex
Contribution Offer
Tramex will contribute $50 to your honeymoon registry at the point
of payment for your honeymoon. This offer is extended only to those
customers who book and pay for their honeymoon through Tramex
Travel, and is limited solely to vacation or cruise packages, and
requires a minimum purchase of $1000. If there is a residual balance
in your honeymoon registry account after final payment is made on
your trip, the $50 contribution is null and void; this $50
contribution may only be applied to the honeymoon - not refunded in
cash.
When Ready to
Travel
When you're ready to take your trip, and Tramex has completed all of
your arrangements, all money posted to your account will be applied
to the total cost of your trip (final payments are usually due to
the tour company about 45 days before you leave). If the total in
your account exceeds the total cost of your trip, Tramex will write
you a check for the difference — before the trip.
If you Pay for
Your Trip in Advance
Many customers choose to pay for their vacation in advance and then
cash out their registry account prior to travel. Tramex will issue
up to three reimbursement checks on your registry account. However,
the third and final check will not be issued until after your trip,
and up to one year from the planned travel dates. The following
restrictions and waiting periods apply to reimbursement of your
registry account for contributions made by: 1) local check —five (5)
business days; 2) in-state check — ten (10) business days; 3)
out-of-state check — fifteen (15) business days. When requesting a
reimbursement check, please allow three (3) business days for check
issuance.
Once you have registered
your honeymoon, you will receive occasional emails from Tramex
regarding travel deals. You will have the option to unsubscribe at
anytime by clicking on the link that will be contained within the
email.
