We just wrapped up a Backroads trip with a picnic lunch and checked into the Wyoming Inn for our last night here. There were 6 couples on the trip with 2 young ladies as our guides. Everything was extremely well done and the people were great. We had good weather except for the day we were supposed to kayak, and that was scrubbed since the air temperature was about 40 degrees, which was colder than the water temperature, which was considered too dangerous. No one was too upset since we were all cold and the forecast was gloomy for the rest of the day. We hiked a total of 25 miles in 2 hikes and biked over 60 miles in 2 rides, one of which was 42 miles. We did a raft ride on the Snake River today which was a nice end to the trip since it was not too rigorous. 

Overall we would give the trip a 9 out of 10. The only thing we didn't like (which was always part of the deal) was that we had to repack our bags every day but one. The Backroads crew fed us like kings - the lunches they prepared were fantastic, and we had great food in the hotel restaurants. The best part was the people we met - I think the Backroads trips attract the kind of people we have a lot in common with, and that was certainly the case on this trip. We expect to keep in touch with one couple for sure that lives in New Orleans which is about 2 hours from the town we are moving to, and we really enjoyed the time we spent with them. The guides were fantastic, and did everything to make each person happy. They always seemed happy to be there, even when they were lugging suitcases and racking bikes. Several couples on the trip were repeat customers, one with 5 trips and one with 18 trips with Backroads - you cannot get a better recommendation than that. We expect we will do another trip with them as well. Thanks for your help setting up the trip for us.
